1. Carrie (1976 & 2013) : Carrie, original (1976) as well as remake (2013) are the most famous telekinetic movies, based on the novel “Carrie” by Stephen King. Though both original and remake have the same plot, they do have some differences. Chloe Moretz role as a Carrie White in the remake has done justice to the role originally made by Sissy Spacek. Though the movie is not actually a horror movie but worth seeing how a young girl, who is shy and reserved, unleashes her telekinetic abilities one night when the pranks of her college mates crosses their limits.

2. Firestarter (1984) : This is an another movie based on a novel “firestarter” by Stephen King. The movie is about a story of a girl with psychokinesis powers, more specifically called pyrokinesis.

Matilda (1996) : This is an another telekinesis movie directed by Danny DeVito, based on the book by Roald Dahl is a story of a young sweet girl who is ignored by her parents and bullied by her school principal. When she discovers that she has telekinetic powers, she uses those powers to help her friends and to settle matters with her principal.

4. Phenomenon (1996) : This is a story of a young american, performed by John Travolta, whose life changes when he encounters a strange incident on his 37th birthday. He comes to know an increase in his genius level, and absorbing more information by reading more books than actually he could. He also observes his telekinetic abilities and uses his powers for a better society.

5. Push (2009) : Push is an action thriller movie where a group of people with psychic abilities band together to take down a government agency that enhances psychic abilities of the people to transform them as human weapons. People who accept this transformation will have the ability to move objects, see the future and can even kill enemies.

6. Poltergeist (2015) : Poltergeist (2015) is the remake of one of the most popular horror movies, 1982’s Poltergeist. This is a tale about a family whose house in suburban is haunted by evil forces, and must come together to rescue their youngest daughter after apparitions take her captive.
